ABOUT US

Studio 17 at Excelsior has been up and running for a year - it sits somewhere between a large studio/rehearsal room and a full production space and can be used as either. It is equipped with sound and lighting facilities, kitchen, changing rooms, showers and toilets and is often used for yoga, dance, film and photography. The building has a Covid-19 policy which can be emailed on request and there are sanitising points located at each entrance.

General Facilities & Venue Information

Dressing rooms/production office

Two rooms located on the first floor can be used as dressing rooms or basic office use. These rooms are closed-door, and can be used for meetings, as well as storage of personal items.

Access Requirements

Level access to all studio areas on the ground floor level. Stairs to first floor rooms only.

Welfare Facilities

Two individual toilets and two shower rooms are located on the ground floor. One of these toilets is wheelchair accessible.

Crew

Available as required; minimum of two crew on a four-hour call.

Smoking is not permitted in the building. Smoking area located outside studio door.

All electrical equipment brought into the studio bus have a clearly visible PAT test sticker from within the last 12 months.

Parking

There are limited parking facilities at the venue itself. Please make appropriate parking arrangements at the nearby NCP, which is a short walk from the studio.
